Second round of DUTCH Calls opened

On this page, consortia can submit project proposals for the second round of the DUTCH Calls.

With a total of nearly €5 million in subsidies, this round offers scope for innovative projects that contribute to future-oriented simulation education and knowledge development in healthcare.

Two calls have been opened : an Open Call and an R&D Call, each with their own focus and conditions.

DUTCH Calls

Overview of the DUTCH Calls - round 2

Open Call - For projects within the five work streams of DUTCH

Parties can submit project proposals in collaboration with each other within the five work streams of DUTCH, focused on industrial research or experimental development.

  • Maximum DUTCH contribution: €250,000 per project (co-financing minimum 50% per consortium)

  • Total available budget: €3,750,000

  • Duration: up to 16 months

  • Deadline for submitting the orientation form (strongly recommended): Monday, July 14, 2025, 12:00 noon

  • Deadline for submitting project proposals: Monday, September 8, 2025, 4:00 PM

Open Call - For projects within the five work streams of DUTCH

R&D Call -   Virtual Patient Generator

Parties can submit project proposals in collaboration with each other within the five work streams of DUTCH, focused on industrial research or experimental development.

  • Maximum DUTCH contribution: €250,000 per project (co-financing minimum 50% per consortium)

  • Total available budget: €3,750,000

  • Duration: up to 16 months

  • Deadline for submitting the orientation form (strongly recommended): Monday, July 14, 2025, 12:00 noon

  • Deadline for submitting project proposals: Monday, September 8, 2025, 4:00 PM

Research focused on the development of digital patient models, with attention to, among other things, diversity in patient characteristics, pharmacological simulation, medical imaging, and soft-tissue modeling in real-time environments.

  • Maximum DUTCH contribution: €300,000 per project (co-financing minimum 50% per consortium)

  • Total available budget: €600,000

  • Duration: 24 months

  • Deadline for submitting project proposals: Monday, September 8, 2025, 4:00 PM

De 8 thema's uitgewerkt in 20 SiMO’s

De bovenstaande acht thema’s zijn uitgewerkt in SimulatieModule-Omschrijvingen (SiMO’s). Een SiMO is een beschrijving van een beoogde simulatiemodule met o.a. doel, doelgroep, kernscenario’s, beoogde leeruitkomsten/prestatiecriteria en globale didactische en technische randvoorwaarden. De SiMO’s vormen de inhoudelijke basis voor de Product Call. De SiMO’s zijn ontwikkeld in co-creatie door de DUTCH themagroepen, bestaande uit zorgprofessionals het technisch team en de onderwijskundigen van Werkstroom 1.  Bij deze SiMO’s is het ‘pas toe of leg uit’-principe van toepassing.
