Legal basis
We store your data and base this processing on our legitimate interest. The GDPR lists six legal bases for processing personal data. We rely on the following bases:
-
You have given consent for the processing of personal data.
-
It is necessary to process data in order for the DUTCH project to succeed. DUTCH is a National Growth Fund project with many stakeholders and a potentially large societal impact. To properly inform all stakeholders and ensure the success of the DUTCH project—and thereby ensure the return on the investment made—it is necessary to accurately map and maintain the DUTCH landscape.
Automated decision-making
Stichting DUTCH never makes decisions based solely on automated processing that could have (significant) consequences for individuals.

How long we retain personal data
Stichting DUTCH does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply a retention period of up to ten (10) years after registration, until 31-12-2030.

Sharing personal data with third parties
Stichting DUTCH does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if necessary to fulfill our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we enter into a data processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Stichting DUTCH remains responsible for these processing activities.
Accessing, correcting or deleting data
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for data processing, to object to the processing of your personal data by our organization, and to exercise your right to data portability. This means you can request us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization specified by you.

If you wish to exercise your right to object and/or right to data portability, or if you have other questions or comments about data processing, please send a specified request to dutch@amsterdamumc.nl. To ensure that the request for access was made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with your request.
