DUTCH Technology Forum: Triple Helix Collaboration
The DUTCH Technology Forum is the beating heart of technological innovation within the DUTCH program. Here, healthcare institutions, educational institutions, and technology companies collaborate in a powerful triple-helix structure on the future of simulated workplace learning.
The Technology Forum brings together public and private technology partners who jointly shape the development of DUTCH infrastructure and digital learning solutions. Within this network, strategic business themes such as interoperability, IP policy, international market access, and procurement frameworks are discussed. This structural collaboration creates an ecosystem in which innovation, scalability, and social impact go hand in hand. The Technology Forum is therefore not only an advisory body but also a catalyst for sustainable educational innovation in healthcare. Interested in becoming part of the DUTCH Technology Forum? Are you joining in?
Would you like to contribute as a technology partner to blended and modular training through simulation-based learning? Can you help us create a scalable, uniform learning infrastructure? Would you like to contribute to increasing training capacity in hospitals and thus reduce the pressure on healthcare?
Then join the DUTCH Technology Forum: an open forum where public and private technology partners collaborate on innovative learning solutions for healthcare. The forum is open to parties with technological expertise, a vision for scalable EdTech solutions, and a willingness to invest in the development of technologies that structurally strengthen healthcare education.
We meet digitally every two months via Microsoft Teams, and meet physically several times a year to deepen, connect and accelerate.
DUTCH Technology Forum terms and conditions
The DUTCH Technology Forum is open to all organizations that genuinely want to contribute to the future of healthcare education. To become part of the Technology Forum, there are a few key requirements:
1. Technological expertise is key
Your organization has technological and innovative expertise in simulation-based learning in healthcare, such as XR, AI, or other learning technologies. Ideally, this should be scientifically substantiated.
2. Working together works better
We're an open network where collaboration and knowledge sharing are key. So, you need to be open to truly collaborate: sharing your experiences, actively contributing, and participating in Technology Forum sessions, events, and calls.
3. Co-invest
To truly get innovations off the ground, we ask Technology Partners to co-invest in DUTCH Calls. On average, a call requires 50% co-funding through the deployment of people, technology, facilities (in-kind), and/or a financial contribution (in-cash). This is the only way we can scale up and make an impact.
4. Public values are central
Your organization complies with all applicable laws and regulations (such as the GDPR and medical guidelines) and adheres to ethical standards regarding privacy, patient safety, and educational quality. We are building the healthcare of the future, in a responsible manner.
