FZO region 1. The Hague - Leiden | Michael Schuling
Michael represents DUTCH in the The Hague-Leiden region as a project leader, where he combines his extensive experience in the operating room with education and technology. "It's exciting to see how the worlds of healthcare, education, and technology can converge."

FZO region 2. Limburg Alfred Kerckhoffs
Alfred represents DUTCH in the southeast of the Netherlands. With 30+ years of experience in healthcare, from nurse to manager, he understands the challenges facing the sector. "Reforming education is a shared journey. With DUTCH as our compass, we are building a skills-focused future," says Alfred.
His expertise in human resources management and practical training makes him ideally suited to lead the transition to simulation-based learning. Alfred's mission: "Learning together, growing together, making a difference together – regionally and nationally."

FZO region 3. Nijmegen | Arrianne Slijkhuis
With a background in business administration and change management, and extensive experience in healthcare, she understands the importance of fostering practical innovation. As a program manager at Rijnstate, she works daily on smarter processes and improved collaboration within healthcare education. "Connection is key for me," says Arrianne. "I believe in learning by doing, experimenting, and discovering what works together. Where healthcare, technology, and education converge, lies the power for sustainable change."
As a pioneer, she aims to connect initiatives in the Nijmegen region, create space for new forms of learning, and ensure that innovation always happens with—and not over—practice. DUTCH offers her the ideal mix of regional freedom and national clout.

FZO region 4. North Brabant | Esther and Mieke
Mieke van Puijenbroek and Esther Wulms represent DUTCH in North Brabant. Their complementary expertise in healthcare education and innovation makes them a strong team. "We focus on connecting initiatives and involving the right people.
Our strength lies in simplifying complex matters so that they are practically applicable. With their network and attention to detail, they strive to connect policy and practice. "By taking small, targeted steps, we maintain a grip on the bigger picture of DUTCH's mission."

FZO region 5. Northern Netherlands | Joep Lenglet
Joep is the project manager for the Northern Netherlands. With a background in educational science and extensive experience in project management at the intersection of healthcare and ICT, DUTCH was a natural fit.

FZO region 6. Northwest Netherlands | Kayleigh de Jongh
Kayleigh represents DUTCH in the northwest Netherlands. "Innovation and progress make my heart beat faster. As a connector, networker, and driving force, I'm passionate about future-oriented healthcare," says Kayleigh.
With her impressive background in Human Resource Management and a strong focus on connecting, developing, and inspiring people within organizations, Kayleigh brings a wealth of experience to our team. Her enthusiasm and passion will undoubtedly make a significant contribution to our mission.

FZO region 7. Rijnmond Zeeland | William Verbakel
William Verbakel represents DUTCH in the southwest of the Netherlands. My background as a surgical assistant, entrepreneur, sales, marketing, project management, and digitalization specialist at Johnson & Johnson and Erasmus MC has given me extensive practical experience in virtual reality, which I've been working with since 2014.
For me, digitalization means more than just innovation, but above all, safeguarding knowledge and achieving consistent, predictable training results. My profile aligns perfectly with DUTCH's national approach to digital and in-person simulation education.

FZO region 8. Utrecht | Fokie Huizenga & Judith Postmus
Fokie represents DUTCH in the Central region. As an occupational and organizational psychologist, she brings experience from the commercial sector and healthcare innovation to the team. "After one assignment in healthcare, I was convinced this was my path," Fokie shares.
Now working at UMC Utrecht, she sees DUTCH as an opportunity to innovate education. "I look forward to working with you to advance healthcare and patient care. DUTCH is an ambitious project that can truly make a difference in how we train and work."

FZO region 9. Eastern Netherlands | Simone van der Donk
Simone represents DUTCH in the eastern Netherlands. With 15 years of experience in educational innovation, she brings a fresh perspective to the team. "My passion lies in stimulating movement toward connection and innovation," Simone shares.
As an environmentally conscious change agent, she sees DUTCH as an opportunity to bring healthcare and education professionals together. "The complexity of this transition fascinates me. By sharing different perspectives, we can collectively replace 50% of practical training and ultimately contribute to shortening healthcare waiting lists."
