What is Simulearn?
SimuLearn is a Proof of Concept of a national infrastructure that makes simulation education and XR modules accessible for healthcare and education. From a single central access point and integration with existing learning environments to personal learning paths and valuable learning insights.
The range of virtual reality, augmented reality, 360-degree video and simulation education is growing rapidly, but is scattered across various platforms. Teachers spend a lot of time finding and evaluating suitable materials.
SimuLearn brings that offering together in one central place. It makes XR learning materials easier to find, share and use, with connections to existing learning environments, agreements on quality and metadata, personal learning paths and valuable learning insights.

Who is it for?
SimuLearn is designed for mbo, hbo and university institutions that want to structurally implement immersive learning. Within DUTCH, we use SimuLearn for healthcare. SimuLearn connects to the LMS that schools already use, so that healthcare students and professionals can follow simulation modules within their own learning environment.
Together with Npuls and SURF
SimuLearn originates from education itself. Npuls, SURF and DUTCH are working together on its further development. Npuls organises the development and ensures coherence, SURF provides the infrastructure, standards and large-scale implementation, and DUTCH focuses on application in healthcare.
Simulearn makes immersive learning, simulation education and XR learning materials possible and applicable!
